2018-2022

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (K-8), KENILWORTH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL | PHOENIX, AZ

Planned and delivered high quality, rigorous, and differentiated lessons in order to meet the learning needs of each student while also using their interests to engage them in imaginative and fun activities
Progress monitored students in math, reading, and writing in order to provide them with small group instruction with a focus on their needs
Responsible for Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development, data collection, implementation, transition plans and facilitating meetings
Implemented use of assistive technology to fulfill/accommodate student needs
Co-taught multiple disciplinary content subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Science, and History) in an inclusion setting
Collaborated with other teachers and families to ensure student social-emotional and academic success in and out of the classroom
Head coach of middle school soccer, basketball, and softball teams
